Returns & Exchanges

Batteries Inc. may accept return or exchange of merchandise within 30 days of invoice date subject to terms and conditions below. Please send request to chall@batteriesinc.net or call 800-638-0224.

New Merchandise

Any merchandise which is in the original packaging unopened may be returned to Batteries Inc. within 30 days of invoice for a refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping charges, delivered and returned. All returns must have prior approval and a return authorization number. Returned items must be in new condition and in original packaging without any markings. Returns not meeting these requirements are subject to 15% restocking fee. Batteries Inc. is not responsible for shipping damages on items being returned.

Defective Merchandise

If merchandise is defective, it must be returned to Batteries Inc. with a return authorization number to be determined defective within 30 days of invoice date or within specified warranty period. Batteries Inc. is not responsible for shipping damages on items being returned. Products found to be non-defective, will be returned to the customer at their expense. Warranty terms do not apply to improper care of products or damages caused by the customer.

Shipping Discrepancies

Shipping discrepancies must be reported to Batteries Inc. within 7 days of receipt of merchandise.

Damaged Shipments

Batteries Inc. must be notified of damaged merchandise in transit immediately no later than 7 days of receipt of merchandise. All original packaging must be kept with the damaged items until notified otherwise.

Refused Deliveries

If delivery is refused upon attempt to deliver, a refund will be issued excluding shipping charges, delivered and returned. A 15% restocking fee may be charged.

How to Return Merchandise

Please call Batteries Inc.’s customer service department, 800-638-0224 for approval and a return authorization number.

Batteries Inc.’s customer service department will give further instructions on how to return items. The return authorization number must be listed on the label and document inside the packaging. Failure to do so could result in non-refund.

Please properly pack the merchandise to be returned. Please insure any package unless Batteries Inc. customer service representative has arranged for pick up. Batteries Inc. is not responsible for merchandise lost or damaged in transit.

Any merchandise returned to Batteries Inc. without prior approval or a return authorization could result in non-refund.

Warranty

Batteries Inc. and the manufacturer provide a 30 day limited warranty. The warranty is to include all products free from defect. The warranty does not cover damages due to incorrect product use or damages due to neglect or abuse. Batteries Inc. will not assume responsibility for damages that defective products might cause (i.e.) leaking batteries that ruin a flashlight. The customer can contact Batteries Inc. and in turn we will provide the contact information to the appropriate manufacturer.
